We need your help for a study

Company Name: Plant & Food Research
A team of researchers from Plant & Food Research are looking for healthy men and women to do a study to investigate if naturally occurring compounds in food called small RNAs are absorbed by the body when eaten. Small RNAs are produced by all plants and animals and are present in most of the foods we eat. However, very little is known about whether they are absorbed by the body and reach areas like your nose and mouth. Participants will be reimbursed for their time and travel.

Are you suitable?
The people needed for this study will be:
• Healthy non-smoking men and women
• Aged between 18-55
• No known health issues, especially relating to the gut
• Be willing to eat the food we provide you with (two whole Kiwifruit and Apples)

What will I need to do?
We need you to come in once every two weeks during a one month period (3 times in total) to give blood, saliva and nasal swab samples. We only need you for a short period of time at specific times of the day so after collecting your samples you can go about your normal work day.

If you are interested in being in the study and would like to learn more, feel free to contact Claudia by phone or txt (021 5394380) or email (EatingLab@plantandfood.co.nz).
